About APSN Katong School
APSN Katong School (KS) is the first school established by the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN) and opened its doors to 110 students at Arthur Road in 1980. After its relocation in 1991 to La Salle Road, KS moved to the present location in 2007.
KS is a full school under APSN Education Services Ltd. (AESL), which offers programmes to students at both the primary (7–12 years old) and secondary (13–16 years old) levels. KS serves students with mild Intellectual Disabilities (MID-IIQ 50–70) as well as students with comorbidities of mild Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
